Our Bell Laboratories legacy continues in the activities of thousands of OFS employees who work to make voice, data and video transmission faster, clearer, more cost effective and more reliable.

Our manufacturing plant in Norcross, Georgia, which began producing optical fiber in 1976 and has been continuously modernized, is the world's largest fiber-optic manufacturing facility. We operate additional fiber-optic plants in Germany, Brazil, Denmark and multiple U.S. locations.

We have put our development and manufacturing resources at work in applications at the customer premises, through cities, and across countries and oceans. Our products and solutions enable service providers to meet the exploding demand for bandwidth as the Internet and data communications become ubiquitous worldwide.
