Prof. Ayana Howard recently published a new book, Intelligence for Space Robotics. The work, co-edited by Howard and Edward W. Tunstel of the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, contains material written by the editors and by others robotics experts from space agencies and universities around the world. The book, published by TSI Press, provides an overview of practical sensor- and computer-based intelligence techniques and future directions in space robotics.
GEDC Researcher Cressler and Team Win Best Journal Paper Award From IEEE
Francesco Barale, a GEDC researcher, has been selected to receive the D’Onofrio Fellowship for the upcoming school year. Barale, who is pursuing microwave research, is one of three recipients of the D’Onofrio Fellowship, an award for graduate students from Italy who are studying at Georgia Tech.
