GEDC Alumni Succeed with FCI, a Fabless Semiconductor Company

Future Communications IC Inc. (FCI), of Seoul, Korea, has been acquired by Silicon Motion Technology Corp. for $90 million in cash and stock.  Two GEDC alumni, Dr. Sangwoo Han (CTO and FCI board member) and Dr. Seungyup Yoo (product-development team leader), have been critical to FCI’s success.  FCI is a designer of RFICs for mobile television and wireless communications.  Read more at www.siliconmotion.com.tw.
